By purchasing, downloading, or using the Celestial Vault, you agree to these terms. The Celestial Vault is a one-time, lifetime-license software bundle for Obsidian.md, sold at celestialvault.app.

What the Celestial Vault is

The Celestial Vault is a complete Obsidian system delivered as a single bundle. Your one-time purchase includes:

• The Celestial Vault — full version, including the custom Celestial theme, two custom plugins, and 20+ custom features
• 150+ templates and 50+ bases covering daily workflows, knowledge management, and project structure
• One Time Garden Eternal license — valid on up to 5 devices, included exclusively with the Celestial Vault bundle
• Access to timegarden.store premium template snippets, plus all future premium snippets released there
• Unlimited local AI summaries via Ollama, running entirely on your own device
• Written documentation and a companion YouTube tutorial

The Celestial Vault is sold as a lifetime license with a single one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring fee. Updates are delivered for as long as we maintain the product.

What you can do with it

Use the Celestial Vault for personal note-taking, journaling, knowledge work, and professional or client work. Install it on the devices you personally use. Modify templates, settings, CSS, and workflows as much as you like — that is the point. Share screenshots, tips, and your own customizations publicly. Use any Ollama-compatible AI model you prefer for the local AI features.

What you cannot do

Don't redistribute the Celestial Vault or share your license key. Don't reverse engineer the obfuscated plugin code — it contains the core of the system and isn't designed to be inspected or repackaged. Don't resell or rehost the bundle, in full or in part, and don't use our code or templates as the basis for a competing commercial product. We focus on stopping commercial exploitation, not on policing what you do with your own vault.

Bundled Time Garden Eternal license

Your purchase includes a Time Garden Eternal license valid on up to 5 devices. The Time Garden component is governed by Time Garden's own terms of service at timegarden.app/terms-of-service, which apply alongside these terms for that part of the bundle. License keys are delivered to the email address used at checkout and should be kept private.

LemonSqueezy as Merchant of Record

We use LemonSqueezy LLC (Salt Lake City, Utah) as our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy is the legal seller of the Celestial Vault: they process payments, handle sales tax and VAT worldwide, manage compliance, and issue refunds. When you check out, you are technically buying from LemonSqueezy LLC, while receiving our product and our support.

LemonSqueezy collects your email, name, billing details, and location at checkout, and provides us access to the non-payment parts of that information (name, email, country, order details) so we can deliver your license and provide support. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Local AI and Ollama

The Celestial Vault's AI features run entirely on your own machine through Ollama. We recommend models such as Phi-4, DeepSeek-R1, and Mistral, but you can use any Ollama-compatible model. We never see your prompts, summaries, or generated content — they don't leave your device. You are responsible for complying with the license terms of any AI model you choose to run.

Updates and support

Updates are delivered via email with new download links. We commit to keeping the Celestial Vault working on current Obsidian releases, fixing bugs, and shipping improvements informed by community feedback.

For support, please check the documentation and the included tutorial first, then email support@timegarden.app. We aim to respond to Celestial Vault customers within 2–3 business days. Our support covers the Celestial Vault and Time Garden themselves — not general Obsidian troubleshooting or third-party plugins.

If the Celestial Vault isn't right for you, email support@timegarden.app with your order number within 14 daysof your purchase and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion and are usually reserved for cases where we cannot resolve a real problem with the product.

Ownership and intellectual property

Ours: the Celestial Vault plugins, the Celestial theme, the templates and bases, the documentation, and the Celestial branding. Yours: the contents of your vault — your notes, your data, your customizations, and anything generated by the local AI on your machine. Protected: the obfuscated plugin code is our core IP and isn't to be reverse engineered, redistributed, or reused.

Template store access

Celestial Vault owners get access to the premium template snippets sold at timegarden.store, including all future premium snippets released there. Pricing, scope, and individual snippet terms for the template store may change over time and will be communicated separately. Removing a snippet from the bundle does not affect snippets you have already downloaded.

Limitations and liability

The Celestial Vault is provided as is, without warranty. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted functionality, compatibility with every plugin combination, or freedom from bugs. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for data loss — please back up your vault — or for issues caused by third-party software, Obsidian itself, or AI model behavior.

Termination

You can stop using the Celestial Vault at any time. We may revoke a license for significant violations of these terms — for example, redistributing the bundle commercially, sharing license keys, or abusing support. Where reasonable, we'll give notice first. Your local vault data always remains yours.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when our practices change or when the law requires it. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after that period constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, with jurisdiction in Hamburg, Germany.
